Registration is mandatory for all conference and workshop participants. Personal name badge will be provided to identify registered participants, and these badges should be worn at all conference functions.

Conference Registration Rates and Fees
Attendees must register under one of the registration categories listed below. All registered participants will receive admission to the Welcome and Farewell receptions and one set of the conference proceedings on a USB flash drive. Registration packets (including printed receipts) for all advance registrations will be available at the conference registration desk.

SPS Member:
If you are a member of SPS, you may register at "SPS Member" rate. This registration category is entitled to upload up to two final papers.
IEEE Member:
If you are a member of IEEE, you should register at the "IEEE Member" rate. This registration category is entitled to upload up to two final papers.
Non-Members:
If you are not a member, you should register at the "Non-Member" rate. This registration category is entitled to upload up to two final papers.
Student SPS Member:
If you are a member of SPS and a student, you may register at the "Student SPS Member" rate. This registration category is entitled to upload up to ONLY ONE final paper.
Student IEEE Member:
If you are a member of IEEE and a student, you should register at the "Student IEEE Member" rate. This registration category is entitled to upload up to ONLY ONE final paper.
Student Non-Members:
If you are not a member and a student, you should register at the "Student Non-Member" rate. This registration category is entitled to upload up to ONLY ONE final paper.
Additional Fees
- Excess Page Charges: 100 USD/page (maximum of two beyond the six-page limit)
- Late Registration Fee: An additional 100 USD will apply after June 17th, 2024.
- Evening Banquet Tickets: 80 USD/each
- The third accepted paper: 250 USD/each
Cancellation Policy
If an author has uploaded a paper using his or her registration, the registration will not be refunded even if the paper is withdrawn or the author is unable to attend the conference. Other requests for a refund of the advanced registration fee will be processed as follows:
- All requests must be sent to the registration chair, Prof. Xin Wang,[xwang56@albany.edu]
- Requests received by June 7th, 2024, will be fully honored, and all registration charges will be refunded.
- Requests received between June 7th, 2024, and June 17th, 2024, will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be given for requests received after June 17th, 2024.
Workshops Registration
Two preconference workshops will be offered at AVSS 2024 on July 16th. See the workshops page for more information. Workshop attendance requires a separate registration payment, as noted below. All prices are in U.S. dollars. The registration categories of "Student Member" are only allowed to upload one final paper. The registration categories of "Non-Student Member" allow for the upload of up to two final papers.
